MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVII+IBER 30, 1994 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 30th day of November, 1994 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson ohaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mayor Mr. <br />Council Member Mr. <br />Council Member Mr. <br />Council Member Mr. <br />Council Member Mrs. <br />City Admin. Mrs. <br />Raymond Hanson <br />Jim LaValle <br />Steve Morelan <br />Bob Pedersen <br />Beverly Scalze <br />Joel Hanson <br />Bill Bruce <br />Kathy Glanzer <br />1995 Budget On behalf of the Mayor and City Council, the City <br />Administrator welcomed those in attendance as well as <br />the viewing audience to the City's 1995 Truth In <br />Taxation Hearing on the 1995 proposed budget and levy. <br />The Administrator reported that tonight we will discuss <br />the City's impact on 1995 property taxes. <br />There are many factors that affect an individual~s <br />property tax bill. These include: <br />1. Local Spending (City, County, School, Other); <br />2. Classification of Property; <br />3. Class Rates; <br />4. Market Value of Affected Property; <br />5. Total Market Value of Jurisdiction; <br />6. HACA distribution; <br />7. Fiscal Disparities. <br />The Administrator reported that in 1995 local spending, <br />market value and fiscal disparities will play a big <br />role in property taxes in suburban Ramsey County. <br />The Administrator reported that for 8% of residential <br />1 <br />
