MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JAN[7ARY 11, 1995 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-1-2 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />DECEMBER 21, 1994 EDA MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 95-1-3 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />DECEMBER 21, 1994 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LEGAL Fahey reported that currently the City's legal <br />NEWSPAPER newspaper is the Little Canada Press. Quotes have been <br />DESIGNATION received from the Little Canada Press and the Lillie <br />Suburban newspapers for the 1995 legal newspaper <br />designation. While the quote from the Little Canada <br />Press is low by approximately $97.05 for the year, <br />staff is recommending that the legal newspaper <br />designation be awarded to the Lillie Suburban newspaper <br />due to their longer deadline for submission of notices. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 95-1-4 - APPOINTING THE LITTLE CANADA <br />PRESS AS THE CITY'S LEGAL NEWSPAPER FOR 1995 PROVIDED <br />THAT THEY WILL EXTEND THEIR DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS TO <br />MATCH LILLIE SUBURBAN~S, AND IF NOT, THE DESIGNATION <br />SHOULD BE SCHEDULED FOR DISCUSSION AT THE JANUARY 25, <br />1995 COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Fahey, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (0).
