MINUTES CITY COUNCIL FEBRUARY 8, 1995 MORATORIUM ON MOVING HOUSES INTO TIiE CITY; *APPROVAL OF EXEMPTION FROM DUCKS UNLIMITED TO CONDUCT THE VENETIAN INN ON APRIL *APPROVAL OF THE VOUCI-IERS LAWFUL GAMBLING LICENSE FOR TWO GOLD PLATE DINNERS AT 18TH AND MAY 2ND, 1995; The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Scalze, Morelan, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CALL FOR The City Attorney reported that the Ramsey County CLOSED District Court decided that the City Council has a SESSION legally sustainable reason for denial of the TO DISCUSS SuperAmerica application for Conditional Use Permit. SUPERAMERICA The Attorney requested that following the meeting the LAWSUIT Council convene into closed session to discuss the details of the lawsuit. Fahey pointed out that the result of the SuperAmerica lawsuit is good news and the result of good work by the City Attorney. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 95-2-41 - CALLING FOR A CLOSED SESSION FOLLOWING THE MEETING TO DISCUSS THE SUPERAMERICA LAWSUIT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (5) Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey, LaValle, Morelan. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. GILANDERI/ Fahey reported that following the last Council meeting, VIKING DRIVE the Gilanderi/Viking Drive property owners met ROAD regarding their street, and are requesting the City IMPROVEMENTS accept a 30 foot right-of-way for the street, that the street be improved with a 15 foot wide pavement mat and no curb and gutter. Fahey pointed out that it appears it is not possible to improve a standard road in this area. Paul Anderson, 775 East Viking prive, submitted to the Council a new proposal agreed to by the neighborhood.
