MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 8, 1995 <br />MORATORIUM ON MOVING HOUSES INTO TIiE CITY; <br />*APPROVAL OF EXEMPTION FROM <br />DUCKS UNLIMITED TO CONDUCT <br />THE VENETIAN INN ON APRIL <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCI-IERS <br />LAWFUL GAMBLING LICENSE FOR <br />TWO GOLD PLATE DINNERS AT <br />18TH AND MAY 2ND, 1995; <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Scalze, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CALL FOR The City Attorney reported that the Ramsey County <br />CLOSED District Court decided that the City Council has a <br />SESSION legally sustainable reason for denial of the <br />TO DISCUSS SuperAmerica application for Conditional Use Permit. <br />SUPERAMERICA The Attorney requested that following the meeting the <br />LAWSUIT Council convene into closed session to discuss the <br /> details of the lawsuit. <br /> Fahey pointed out that the result of the SuperAmerica <br /> lawsuit is good news and the result of good work by the <br /> City Attorney. <br /> Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br /> moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 95-2-41 - CALLING FOR A CLOSED SESSION <br /> FOLLOWING THE MEETING TO DISCUSS THE SUPERAMERICA <br /> LAWSUIT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey, LaValle, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />GILANDERI/ Fahey reported that following the last Council meeting, <br />VIKING DRIVE the Gilanderi/Viking Drive property owners met <br />ROAD regarding their street, and are requesting the City <br />IMPROVEMENTS accept a 30 foot right-of-way for the street, that the <br />street be improved with a 15 foot wide pavement mat and <br />no curb and gutter. Fahey pointed out that it appears <br />it is not possible to improve a standard road in this <br />area. <br />Paul Anderson, 775 East Viking prive, submitted to the <br />Council a new proposal agreed to by the neighborhood. <br />
