MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 28, 1995 <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-2-63 - EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM ON <br />ALL B-3 ZONING DISTRICTS WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE <br />CANADA FOR A 90-DAY PERIOD PENDING THE CITY'S <br />COMPLETION OF ITS REVIEW OF COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING <br />ISSUES FOR THIS AREA WITH THE UNDERSTANDING TFIE CITY <br />PROCEED WITH THIS PROCESS WITH ALL POSSIBLE DUE <br />DILIGENCE AND FURTIIER RECOGNIZING THAT BECAUSE 90-DAYS <br />MAY NOT ALLOW ENOUGH TIME TO COMPLETE THIS PROCESS, <br />SPECIAL WORKSHOPS WITH TIIE CITY PLANNER MAY BE <br />NECESSARY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />MARCH 6TH The City Administrator pointed out that there may be a <br />WORKSHOP scheduling conflict with the continuation of our March <br />6th Council workshop. He suggested that if this <br />conflict exists, we should continue the workshop to <br />March 9th. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-2-64 - PROVIDING FOR THE CONTINUATION <br />OF THE COUNCIL WORKSHOP INVOLVING THE RICE <br />STREET/LITTLE CANADA ROAD REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT FROM <br />MARCH 6TII TO MARCH 9TH, 1995 SHOULD THE NEED EXIST WITH <br />THE FURTHER UNDERSTANDING THAT THIS WILL BE A JOINT <br />MEETING WITH THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Council further commented to Mr. Schroeder that if <br />he has permitted uses that fall within the current B-3 <br />criteria, or other acceptable conditional uses, the <br />Council could exempt his property from existing <br />moratorium provisions. They indicated a willingness to <br />work with him in this regard. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />5 <br />
