MINUTES CITY COUNCIL FEBRUARY 28, 1995 Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 95-2-63 - EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM ON ALL B-3 ZONING DISTRICTS WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA FOR A 90-DAY PERIOD PENDING THE CITY'S COMPLETION OF ITS REVIEW OF COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING ISSUES FOR THIS AREA WITH THE UNDERSTANDING TFIE CITY PROCEED WITH THIS PROCESS WITH ALL POSSIBLE DUE DILIGENCE AND FURTIIER RECOGNIZING THAT BECAUSE 90-DAYS MAY NOT ALLOW ENOUGH TIME TO COMPLETE THIS PROCESS, SPECIAL WORKSHOPS WITH TIIE CITY PLANNER MAY BE NECESSARY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle, Pedersen. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. MARCH 6TH The City Administrator pointed out that there may be a WORKSHOP scheduling conflict with the continuation of our March 6th Council workshop. He suggested that if this conflict exists, we should continue the workshop to March 9th. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 95-2-64 - PROVIDING FOR THE CONTINUATION OF THE COUNCIL WORKSHOP INVOLVING THE RICE STREET/LITTLE CANADA ROAD REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT FROM MARCH 6TII TO MARCH 9TH, 1995 SHOULD THE NEED EXIST WITH THE FURTHER UNDERSTANDING THAT THIS WILL BE A JOINT MEETING WITH THE PLANNING COMMISSION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The Council further commented to Mr. Schroeder that if he has permitted uses that fall within the current B-3 criteria, or other acceptable conditional uses, the Council could exempt his property from existing moratorium provisions.
