MINU't'ES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 12, 1995 <br />The Council discussed the issue of Comp Time for <br />department heads. It was the consensus of the Council <br />to accept the City Administrator's recommendation that <br />an extra week's vacation be granted in :Lieu of comp <br />time. <br />The City Administrator pointed out that the City~s <br />Mission Statement will be included in tlie Personnel <br />Policy. The Administrator also reviewed his redraft of <br />the Personnel Covered section of the po:Licy. <br />Council next reviewed the redraft of the Multi- <br />Department Head Status section. Council's consensus <br />was in support of the redrafted wording. <br />The Administrator reviewed the redrafteci wording of the <br />Fire Department section as well as the Idon-disciplinary <br />Separation Lay-Off section. Council suj~ported these <br />redrafted sections. <br />Fahey reported that he reviewed the At-i4i11 Employment <br />section with the City Attorney and City Administrator. <br />Based on their conversation, current employees will be <br />subject to the current ordinance. Futu~°e exempt <br />employees will be required to sign a do<:ument <br />acknowledging their "At-Will" status. '.Che appropriate <br />wording will be incorporated in the Per:~onnel Policy. <br />The City Administrator reported that thea changes <br />discussed will be incorporated into the Policy, which <br />will then be forwarded to the City Atto~-ney for a£inal <br />review.
