MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA NLY 12, 1995 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 12th day of July, 1995 in the Council Chambers of tY1e City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Michael Fahey chaired and called the meeting to order at 7:35 P.M. and the following members of the Council were present at roll call: MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Michael Fahey Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze MEMBERS ABSENT: Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney Cable TV Prod. Mrs. Jane Boog Admin. Asst. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 95-7-164 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE JUNE 28, 1995 REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (4) LaValle, Morelan, Fahey, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. SHERIFF'S Sheriff Bob Fletcher appeared before the Council DEPARTMENT introducing himself as well as Chief Deputy Mike PRESENTATION Shanley and Commander John Luey. Fletcher indicated the Sheriff's Department has always had a good relationship with its contracting cities, and he expects that relationship to continue. Fletcher reported he spends six to eight hours each week on the streets; a good deal of that time spent in Little Canada. Fletcher reported that the Sheriff's Department has a good sense of what many of the concerns are in the communities it serves, but does not know all concerns. Fletcher welcomed calls from the cities in this regard. He also reported that he attends most meetings the City Managers group has with the Sheriff's Department. 1
