MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NLY 12, 1995 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 12th day of July, 1995 in the <br />Council Chambers of tY1e City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael Fahey chaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 7:35 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Michael Fahey <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />Cable TV Prod. Mrs. Jane Boog <br />Admin. Asst. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 95-7-164 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />JUNE 28, 1995 REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Morelan, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SHERIFF'S Sheriff Bob Fletcher appeared before the Council <br />DEPARTMENT introducing himself as well as Chief Deputy Mike <br />PRESENTATION Shanley and Commander John Luey. Fletcher indicated <br />the Sheriff's Department has always had a good <br />relationship with its contracting cities, and he <br />expects that relationship to continue. Fletcher <br />reported he spends six to eight hours each week on the <br />streets; a good deal of that time spent in Little <br />Canada. Fletcher reported that the Sheriff's <br />Department has a good sense of what many of the <br />concerns are in the communities it serves, but does not <br />know all concerns. Fletcher welcomed calls from the <br />cities in this regard. He also reported that he <br />attends most meetings the City Managers group has with <br />the Sheriff's Department. <br />1 <br />
