MINUTES OP THE SPECIAL MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA OCTOB~R 25, 1995 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 25th day of October, 1995 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Michael Fahey chaired and called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. and the following members of the Council were present at roll call: MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Michael Fahey Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle (arr. 6:25 P.M.) Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson City Engineer Mr. Jerry Bourdon City Engineer Mr. Paul Heuer Proj. Mgr. Mr. Harlen Olson City Attorney Mr. George Borer Admin. Asst. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer IMP. No. Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the 94-7 - assessment roll for Improvement No. 94-7, Gilanderi GILANDERI Lane by street reconstruction and water main T.ANE improvement. The City Administrator reviewed the assessment roll for Imp. No. 94-7, reporting that water main assessment is proposed at $4,510.00 per lot, street assessment at $6,961.00 per lot, and burying of utility lines at $470.63 per lot. The Administrator also noted that Waivers of Right to Appeal Special Assessments were received from all property owners with the exception of David Smith. No objections have been received for this improvement. The Administrator also reported that a ten year assessment term is proposed, at an interest rate of 7.25%. There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by Morelan, the public hearing was closed. 1
