MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
APRIL 10, 1996
can coordinate with Ramsey County's reconstruction of
Little Canada Road planned for 1997. In addition to
representatives of the Council, the committee could
consist of the City's Fiscal Advisor, City Planner,
City Engineer and himself.
Morelan asked if the Architectural Review Board should
be involved in street scape process. The City
Administrator replied that street scape design will be
inter-related with Architectural Guidelines, but was
not sure where the process shifts from that of a Public
Works process to a architectural review process.
Morelan stated his assumption is the street scape
design will address design of landscaping, planters,
the width of the street, etc.
The Administrator replied that was correct. The City
will be presented with a schematic lay-out for the
area, as well as cost estimates to help us evaluate a
financing program.
It was the consensus of the Council that two Council
Members should serve on the interview committee.
Morelan and Scalze volunteered, with Pedersen
volunteering to serve as an alternate. The
Administrator recommended all three firms be
interviewed, and the interviews be scheduled for
Wednesday or Thursday next week.
ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 96-4-91 - ADJOURNING
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan.
Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey.
Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
There being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned at 8:47 P.M.
~ ~ .., `~, __--'-~ ~
~~~+.~;:,~.'.'~_ ~ e~vl
~c ael I.
