Ponds would be 3
to 4 feet deep, and at peek discharge, that could
increase by another foot.
The Council thanked Schroeder for his presentation.
TEt~ORARY The City Administrator reported that The House,
ENTERTAINMENT formerly known as Sailboard Warehouse, is requesting
LICENSE - a temporary entertainment license for a special sales
THE HOUSE event they are planning for Saturday, October 19th.
Council discussed the fact that this would be a one-day
event, with retail sales indoors, and a band and
refreshments served outdoors. Given the temporary
nature of the event, it was the Council~s consensus the
license fee should be waived. LaValle disagreed,
feeling a nominal fee should be charged to cover staff
time in issuing the license.
Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 96-9-238 - APPROVING A TEMPORARY
ENTERTAINMENT LICENSE FOR THE HOUSE AS REQUESTED FOR A
SPECIAL ONE-DAY SALES EVENT TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY,
OCTOBER 19, 1996 AND WAIVING THE LICENSE FEE
19
