Resolution declared adopted. <br />RAMSEY Mayor Fahey welcomed members of the Ramsey County Sheriff's <br />COUNTY Department. <br />SfI~RIFF' S <br />D~PARTM~N'C Sheriff Bob Fletcher appeared before the Council to address issues of <br />public safety and crime prevention in Little Clnada. Sheriff Fletcher <br />reported that the Sheriff's Department has increased their efforts in this <br />area throtii~h the addition of a full-time crime prevention officer. This <br />position is funded tlirou~h a Federal Crime Prevention Grant and by the <br />seven contract cities. The gr~nt pays for 75% of the cosY, while cities pay <br />25%.
