MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 23, 1997 <br />AND CITYADMINI.STRATOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT <br />ON73EHAI.F OF THE CITY <br />The fore~oing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Morelan, Fahey, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SURFACE The City Administrator reported that the City will need to enter into a <br />WATER joint powers agreement with the City of Maplewood in order to enforce <br />REGULATIONS surface water regulations recently passed for Gervais Lake. This <br />FOR GERVAIS agreement may be presented to the Council for action at its next meeting. <br />LAKE <br />TOWER The City Planner reported that he has been contacted by a company who <br />PROPOSAL constructs cellular transmission towers for speculative purposes. This <br />company would like to construct a 150-foot tower along Highway 36 in <br />the City's B-3 Zoning District. The City's ordinance provides for a 75- <br />foot maximum height in the B-3 District. The Planner also pointed out <br />that there are currently two towers already in this are~t. <br />The Council indicated that there consensus was not to amend the tower <br />ordinance to inerease the height maximum in the B-3 District, pointing out <br />that the City's Industrial District allows for 150 foot tower heights. <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI,UTIONNO. 97-4-105 -ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (0).
