FISCAL IMPACT <br />The promotion of the current Public Work Apprentice to a Public Works Maintenance I position <br />will have a budget impact of approximately $6,000 in 2025 and $7,000 for the 2026 budget. <br />There are continued personnel savings in the Public Works Department due to two employees <br />being out due to medical reasons. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the City Council approve the promotion of Jim Mayer from Public Works <br />Apprentice to Maintenance Worker I, effective May 14, 2025.
