Staff has been working diligently to complete the project within the original timeframe. <br />However, due to staff changes and adjustments of staff priorities to fill vacant positions, staff <br />requested an extension with Ramsey County until August 31, 2026, which staff feels is a <br />reasonable timeframe. <br />So far, the following for the project has been completed or is in process: <br />Designer request for quotes issued <br />Designer hired <br />On-going meetings with designer <br />Engagement with community (survey) <br />Engagement with businesses (meeting) <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Staff recommends the City Council approve the First Amendment to the Grant Agreement <br />between Ramsey County Housing and Redevelopment Authority and the City of Little Canada to <br />extend the timeframe for the city’s 2024 Critical Corridors Commercial Corridor Initiative. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Attachment A: First Amendment to the Grant Agreement between Ramsey County <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority and the City of Little Canada <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO <br />GRANT AGREEMENT
