3 <br /> <br />The current code acknowledges some types of Special-Purpose Fences, but their location in the <br />section is disjointed and spread out over multiple subsections. Ordinance 912 establishes clearer <br />standards for security fences, temporary fencing, and sport court enclosures. <br /> <br />SUMMARY <br />The proposed ordinance does not make major changes to fence allowances in terms of height, <br />placement, or materials. Ordinance 912 centralizes all fence-related standards in one location in the <br />Zoning Code, eliminates redundant or contradictory language, and creates a more legible, user- <br />friendly, and enforceable organization of regulations. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />City Staff recommends that the Planning Commission adopt Ordinance 912 and approve a summary <br />publication of the new ordinance.
