Resolution declared adopYed. <br />DESIGNATION The City Administrltor reported that as part of the functional <br />OF MCMENEMY coi~solidation ~rocess the hirn back of Co~mty roads to cities was to be <br />ROAD AS AN 2dded to our Municipal State Aid system on a mile for mile basis. <br />MSA STRG~T However, MSA staff Itas decided that tw n-backs would be made on an <br />80% basis with cities l~avin~ to come up witl~ tl~e additional 20% fi~om <br />their MSA mileage desi~nation. This issue is being discussed with the <br />MSA ofEice ai~d ~f.tamsey County to tiy to geC it resolved. <br />The City Administrator recommended that the City designate McMenemy <br />Road as an MSA street. lt is thou~ht that the street can still be qualified as <br />a state-aid street ('or this year. However, when Vil<ing Drive is turned <br />62c1c, the City will have a probiem ii~ qullifying Chis street because there <br />will be no excess MSA mileage lefC to apply to Viking brive. The <br />Administrator indicated thaY he wotiild like to get McMenemy Road on the <br />MSA syste~n at Yhis time, and hopefully, the percentage issue will be <br />worked out prior to the turn-bacl< of Viking Drive.
