Ordinance declared adopeed. <br />OLD FIRE The Administrative Assistant reviewed her re~ort dated June '18, 1997 <br />HALL rellting to alcohol use issues at fhe Old Pire I-Iall. <br />Morelan felt ii'tl~e City is going to allow alcohol use at the Old Tire Hall, <br />liquor liability ins~u~ance should be required. Morelln noted tl~1t the cost <br />is relsonable for someone to obtain a liquor liability insurance rider on <br />their homeowners ins~uance providing Yhat covera~e. <br />It was t~he consensus of the Co~incii Co 211ow alcohoi usage at the Old Fire <br />I-lall provided that liquor littbility insurance coverage is provided by the <br />renter of the [-[~II. <br />Cou~~cil discussed interpretat~ion of the ins~n~lnce riders that might be <br />submitted by various insurance companies. '1'he City Adininistrator <br />su~gested the first few riders co~ild be reviewed by the City's insurance <br />agent and/or City Attorney. After CiCy stafl'bec~me more Pamiliar with <br />the riders, fhey would have the ability to do the review. <br />`I'he Co~mcil discussed ~vhether there should be one rental fee for the Old <br />Fire Hall if 1lcohoi is being ~ised and anoCher if there is no alcohol usage. <br />lt was the consensus oP tl~e Council thaC given the usage of the Old Fire <br />H1ll tts a pilot pro~;rlm, Cl~e fee should be consistent at this time.
