STAFF REPORT <br />TO:Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br />FROM:Heidi Heller, City Clerk/HR Manager <br />DATE:June 11, 2025 <br />RE:Off-Site Gambling Application for Little Canada Canadian Days, Inc. during <br />Canadian Days <br />ACTION TO BE CONSIDERED: <br />Motion to approve an off-site gambling application for the Little Canada Canadian Days, Inc. <br />during Canadian Days festival on August 1-3, 2025. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Little Canada Canadian Days, Inc. has submitted an application for off-site gambling to operate <br />raffle, pull-tabs, tipboards and bingo at their annual Canadian Days festival on August 1-3, 2025 <br />at Spooner Park. All application materials have been submitted. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends the Council approve an application for the Little Canada Canadian Days, Inc. <br />to conduct off-site gambling at Spooner Park on August 1-3, 2025.
