MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 27, 1997 <br />PUBLIC Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider a property combination <br />HEARING - requested by R& S Automotive to combine their two lots located at <br />PROPERTY 38 W. Woodlynn Avenue into one lot. There are cunently principal <br />COMBINATION bui(dings on each lot. R& S Automotive is planning to connect these <br />R& S two buildin~s with an addition. Fahey noted that the Planning <br />AUTOMOTIVE Commission recommended approval of the property combination subject <br /> to compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner as outlined in <br /> his report dated August 11, 1997. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Scalze, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the followin~ resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI.UTIONNO. 97-8-197-APPROVING THE COMI37NATION <br />OF PARCEL$ NO. 06-29-22-22-0028 AND 06-29-22-22-0029 INTO <br />ONE LOT AS RE~UESTED 73Y R& S AUTOMOTIVE, 38 WEST <br />WOODI,YNNAVENUE SDI3.IECT TO COMPI,IANCE WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PI.ANNER AS OUTI.INED IN <br />HIS REPORT DATED AUGUST Il, 1997 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Sca(ze. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PUBLIC Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider an application for an Special <br />HEARING - Use Permit for a home occupation allowing the operation of a mobile tool <br />HOME franchise from the residential home located at 2570 Jackson Street as <br />OCCUPATION - requested by William and Sandra Wahlber~. Fahey noted that the <br />2570 JACKSON Planning Commission recommended approval by a 4 to 1 vote subject to <br /> some restrictions on delivery hours and number of employee vehicles <br /> visiting the premises. <br />Morelan asked for some history on the previous variance request for this <br />property noting that he did not recall mention of a business being operated <br />from the home at that time. <br />Mr. Wahlberg referred to the City Planner's July 4, 1995 report which <br />says that the proposed home occupation meets all the requirements for a <br />home business. Wahlberg pointed out that the problem at the time was <br />
