MINUTES CITY COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 10, 1997 Mr. LaValle introduced the followin~ resolution and moved its adoption: RESOI.UTION NO. 97-9-219 -AUTHORIZINC EXECIITION OF SU73-GRANT AGREEMENT FOR FEDERA7. ASSI.STANCE UNDER THE INFRASTRDCTURE PROGRAM FOR SU73-CRANTEE.4 AND A UTHORIZING TFIE EXECUTION OF THIS AC,REEMENT ON 73EHALF OP THE CITY 13Y THE ACTING MAYOIl AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR The foregoin~ resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (4) LaValle, Scalze, Morelan, Pedersen. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. SUMMER Council reviewed the reports submitted by the Parks & Recreation CONCERTS Director as well as Muriel Bianchi of the Parks &'Recreation Commission on the summer concert series. The Commission is requesting $1,000 be bud~eted in 1998 to continue this program. Scalze again conveyed the appreciation of the Council to Bianchi for her work on this program. WIN~ AND Council reviewed the applications of Blues Barbeque & Pizza Cafe, 3.2 PERCENT 2900 Rice Street, for a Wine License and 32 Percent Malt Liquor MALT LIQUOR License. City staff reported that the necessary evidence of Liquor LICENSES - Liability Insurance has been submitted, and the Sheriffls Department BLUES Background Check is satisfactoiy.
