MINUTES OF TfIE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MARCH 4, 1998 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meetin~ of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 4°i day of March, <br />1998 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meetin~ to order at 6:05 P.M. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll ca(1: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor Mr. Michael I. Fahey <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />Council Member Mrs . Kathy Glanzer <br />RICE STREET/ The Council began by reviewing Michael Schroeder's memo dated <br />LITTLE CANADA March 2°d commenting on a theater development on parcels south of <br />ROAD Little Canada Road. The Mayor noted that Schroeder feels that the .91 <br />REDEVELOP- acre site east of the Winter's property would work better if combined <br />MENT PROJECT with the Winter's parcels for a future development site. However, the <br />appraiser has indicated that the 91 acre parcel would be better combined <br />with the theater site. The Administrator indicated that the appraiser felt <br />that because of the limited width of the Winter's property, the addition of <br />the 91 acres does not add great value to that site, and if combined with the <br />theater site could be used for employee parkin~ or buffering from Iona <br />Lane. <br />Schroeder indicated that ~iven the narrow width of the Winter's parcel, a <br />development would have to be found for that site that didn't use the <br />
