MINUTES OF THE WORKSIIOP SESSION <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLG CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />APFZIL 7, 1998 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop session of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of April, <br />1998 in the Council Chambers ofthe City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COi7NCIL: Mayor Mr. Michael I. Fahey <br />Council Member Mr. 7im LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />Council Member Mrs . Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Public Works Dir. Mr. Scott Tangen <br />CiTY ENGINEER Mayor Fahey reported that the purpose of tonight's workshop it to <br />INT~RVIEWS interview the three engineering firms that are finalists in the City's <br />selection process for a City Engineer. <br />The first firm interviewed was Howard R. Green Company. <br />Representafives present from this firm were Craig Ebeling, Regional <br />Office Manager, Terry Maurer, Client Service Manager, and Tom Lindahl, <br />Project Inspector. <br />The second firm was John Oliver & Associates. Representatives present <br />were Terry Herman, City Engineer, Todd Louth, Project Manager/Design <br />En~ineer, and Fred Fritschel, Inspector. <br />Short-Elliott-Hendrickson was the last firm interviewed, Mike Kraemer, <br />Municipal Department Head, Dave Mitchell, Project Mana~er, John Lee, <br />Inspector, and Glen Van Wormer, Traffic Engineer, were present <br />representing SEH. <br />The Council discussed each of the en~ineering firms abilities, and the <br />consensus was to choose Howard R. Green Company as the City's <br />
