The Administrator pointed out <br />that the Truth ln TaxaCiou notices would then retlect the zero percent <br />cl~an~e for Little Canada. Any increase that homeowners mig(~t <br />experience wo~ild not be the result of any City action. <br />The Councii a~reed th~it the preliminvy 1999 BudgeC should be certified <br />1t the zero percent chan~e in the net~ levy. <br />Morel~n asl.ed about ina~easing the 97% collection rate. The <br />Adminis,rator point~ed out that the 1997 AudiC reflected the City's <br />col(ecYion rate at ex~ictly 97%. Theref~ore, he ~vouid recommend leaving <br />that~~ercent as proposetl. <br />At this point in the worl<shop the Council began a detaiied review of <br />General Ftintl I:x}~endit~ires. <br />The Council reviewed the Mayor & Council portion oi'the budget noting a <br />2.5% increase was projected Por 1999.
