MINUTES CiTY COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 23, 1998 FASCiANA The City Administrator reported that Mr. Sam Fasciana has requested WATER to connect to City water main. The connection would be made to the MAIN existing water main along Yorkton Ridge. Given that the Fasciana ASSESSMENT property located at 2905 Condit has never been assessed for water main, an assessment is appropriate at this point. The Administrator reported that he calculated the amount of the assessment taking the water main cost for Condit Street and applying the CPI. Yorkton Ridge was not used given that this water main was put in as a private project. It was further noted that Mr. Fasciana has submitted a formal petition requesting the water main connection, and agreeing to the assessment amount. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOI,DTION NO. 98-9-235 - DECI,ARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON THE FASCIANA WATER MAIN CONNECTION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Mr. LaValle introduced the followin~ resolution and moved its adoption: RE.SOI, UTION N0. 98-9-236 - RECEIVING THE VBR73A7, REPORT OF THE CITYADMINISTRATOR REI ATIVE TO THE FASCIANA WATER MAIN CONNECTION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOI,UTION NO. 98-9-237 - ADOPTING THE ASSE,SSMENT OF THE FASCIANA PROPERTY I.OCATED AT 2905 CONDIT STREET FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 71-13, WATER MAIN IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,325. 00 FOR A PERIOD OF TEN YEAR.S AT AN INTEREST RATE OF 6.5 PERCENT The foregoin~ resolution was duly seconded by Morelan.
