MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 14, 1999 <br />that background checks will not be necessary on every member of the <br />Historical Society, but only those make expenditure decisions. The result <br />will be no change to the way other gambling organization in the City are <br />treated since their membership makes expenditure decisions. The <br />Historical Society is somewhat unique in that it has over 100 members <br />from all over the country. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: <br />ORD/NANCE NO. 490 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS <br />81 S. 010.5., NI5.020. 7., 815.OZS(C) AND (I), AND 8I5. 035 OF THE <br />LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE AS IT RELATES TO LAWFUI. <br />GAMI3I,ING <br />The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Fahey, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nay (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />FALSE ALARM Council reviewed fhe recommendation of the City Administrator <br />FEE FOR relative tu the false alarm fee for the Bigos property (Lakeside <br />BIGOS Apartments). <br />PROPERTY <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />REb'OI,UTION NO. 99-7-186 - AUTHORIZING NEC,OTIATION OF <br />TFIE I31GOS PROPERTY (/,AKEIDE APAR'1'MENTS) FAI,SE <br />AI,A12M FEE A.S REQUE.S"TED 73Y THE CITYAI)MINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Morelan, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />R1CE STR~ET/ The City Administrator reported that the eminent domain hearing for the <br />LITTLE CANADA Guerin property will be held on Monday. He fiirther indiclted that the <br />ROAD redevelopment project being worked on by Mr. Christenson and Mr. <br />REDEV~LOP- Collyard has not progressed, and hopefully there will be some progress <br />MENT Yo reporC within the next two weeks. <br />UPDAT~ <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved it adoption: <br />RESOI.UTION NO. 99-7-787 - ADJOURNING <br />ix <br />
