MINUTES CITY COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 22, 1999 The City Planner noted that outdoor storage is required to be screened. He again pointed out that the ordinance amendment qualifies the outdoor storage in the Public District as needed for health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Little Canada. The Planner suggested, however, that the amendment could be further qualified by requiring that outdoor storage of materials be an accessory use to a municipal maintenance facility. Council agreed. There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by LaValle, the public hearin~ was closed. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 99-9-253 - INSTRUCTING CITY STAFF TO MODIFY THE ZONING CODE AMENDMENT RELATIVE TO OUTDOOR STORAGE OF MATERIALS AS AN ACCESSORY USE IN THE PUI3I.IC DISTRICT TO I.IMIT THE STORAGE TO ACCESSORY USES TO A MUNICIPAI. MAINTENANCE FACII.ITY, WITH THE ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO I3E CONSIDERED 73Y THE COUNCIL AT THEIR OCT013ER 13, I999 MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Morelan, Pedersen, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CUP FOR OPEN It was the consensus of the Council to table action on the application AND OUTDOOR for Conditional Use Permit for open and outdoor storage of materials STORAGE - as an accessory use at the City Garage until the October 13, 1999 CITY GARAGE Council meeting. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 99-9-254 - TA13I,INC ACTION ON THE CUP FOR OPENAND ODTDOOR STORAGE OFMATERIAI.S FOR THE CITY GARAGE UNTIL OCTOI3ER 13, 1999 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze.
