MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
SEPTEMBER 22, 1999
The City Planner noted that outdoor storage is required to be screened. He
again pointed out that the ordinance amendment qualifies the outdoor
storage in the Public District as needed for health, safety, and welfare of
the citizens of Little Canada. The Planner suggested, however, that the
amendment could be further qualified by requiring that outdoor storage of
materials be an accessory use to a municipal maintenance facility.
Council agreed.
There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on
this matter.
Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by LaValle, the public hearin~ was
closed.
Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 99-9-253 - INSTRUCTING CITY STAFF TO
MODIFY THE ZONING CODE AMENDMENT RELATIVE TO
OUTDOOR STORAGE OF MATERIALS AS AN ACCESSORY USE
IN THE PUI3I.IC DISTRICT TO I.IMIT THE STORAGE TO
ACCESSORY USES TO A MUNICIPAI.
