MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> LITTLF, CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> OCTOBER 14, 2009 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br /> Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 14th day of <br /> October, 2009 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br /> Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br /> following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br /> CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br /> Council Member Ms. Shelly Boss <br /> Council Member Mr. John Keis <br /> Council Member Mr. Michael McGraw <br /> Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr..Toel R. Ilanson <br /> City Attoi7ley Mr. Trevor Oliver <br /> Ehlers & Assoc. Mr. Todd Hagen <br /> Cable TV Prod. Mr. Kevin Helander <br /> City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br /> <br /> MINUTES Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOL UTION NO. 2009-IO-230 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br /> THE SEPTEMBER 23, 2009 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS <br /> SUBMITTED <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> NORTHWEST Jen•y Hromatka, Northwest Youth & Family Services (NYFS), appeared <br /> YOUTH & before the Council and gave an update on the organization. He reported <br /> FAMILY that NYFS has been in operation for the past 33 years and was originally <br /> SERVICES formed when ten commwlities got together to address youth issues. Nine <br /> of these original communities still support NYFS. Hromatka that NYFS <br /> focuses on youth, ages 5 to 21, in a comprehensive way through early <br /> intervention, cost-effective services, and collaboration. NYFS provides <br /> outpatient mental health counseling, day treatment for youth, and <br /> community services. <br /> Hromatka next reviewed a summary of services provided to Little Canada <br /> for the year 2008 and the first six months of 2009.
