MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> DECEMBEI210, 2009 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br /> Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of <br /> December, 2009 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br /> 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br /> following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Dan Knudsen <br /> Mr. Tom Duray <br /> Mr. Scott Barraclough <br /> Mr. Michael Everson <br /> Mr. Tom Fischer <br /> Mr. Jon Hall <br /> Mr. Chuck Pechmami <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br /> Mr. Kevin I-Ielander, Cable `1'V <br /> Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br /> <br /> MINUTES "I'he November 9`~' and November 12~~' Planning Commission meeting <br /> minutes were approved as submitted. <br /> AMEND Mr. Bob Wagner appeared before the Commission requesting approval of <br /> PUD PERMIT - an Amendment to PUD Permit to allow up to 8,000 square feet for retail <br /> 3225 tenant space at 3225 Country Drive. Wagner stated that when he and his <br /> COiINTRY partner purchased the property they assumed that a retail use would be <br /> DRIVE - allowed given the history of retail at this site, i.e. Knox Lumber acid <br /> G12ABA Drywall Supply. He also noted the other retail uses in the area, the former <br /> PROPERTIES Levitz store and Hom Furniture. Wagner stated that he does not <br /> understand why retail use is not allowed on this site. <br /> Knudsen asked which portion of the building Wagner is seeking for a <br /> retail use. Wagner replied that the retail use would be located in the north <br /> end of the building, the side closest to the freeway. Ile reported that the <br /> building is 46,000 square feet in size. Of that Midwest Gymnastics takes <br /> up 25,000 square feet, Final Cut Fitness 4,000 square feet, Athletes Lab <br /> 2,000 square feet. Wagner indicated that he would be moving his business <br /> into the building and taking another 2,500 square feet. The building is <br /> <br />
