Resolution declared adopted. <br /> llEEI2 HUNT The City Administrator reported that the Metro Bowhunters Resource <br /> Board (MBRB) took a total of 13 deer in the first two hunting sessions. <br /> The Council has authorized a total of 22 deer. The Administrator noted <br /> that there is a third hunting session scheduled for December 21St and 22"`~, <br /> and the Council should decide this evening whether or not to proceed with <br /> that session. The Administrator indicated that the MBRB has indicated <br /> that there are between 15 and 30 deer still within the hunting area. He also <br /> reported that even if the Council agrees that the third hunt should continue <br /> as scheduled, whether MBRB conducts the hunt will be dependent upon <br /> the weather. <br /> Fred Schletty, Sunset Court, appeared before the Council, and reported <br /> that he has authorized his land to be part of the hunt site given the number <br /> of deer on his land and the damage that they cause. Schletty indicated that <br /> he has never complained to the City in the past, but indicated that the deer <br /> are causing a problem that needs to be addressed. Schletty reported that <br /> he has tried various methods to control the deer, but these methods have <br /> not been successful. Schletty commended the MBRB and indicated that <br /> they are a group of courteous and professional individuals. He has given <br /> 12 <br /> <br />
