MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> JANUARY 14, 2010 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br /> Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 14th day of <br /> January, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br /> Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> Vice Chair Tom Duray called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br /> following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Tom Duray <br /> Mr. Michael 1?verson <br /> Mr. Tom Fischer <br /> Mr. Jon Hall <br /> Mr. Chuck Pechmami <br /> ABSEN"1': Mr. Dan Knudsen <br /> Mr. Scott Barraclough <br /> ALSO PRESIN'I': Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br /> Mr. Kevin I-Ielander, Cable "I'V <br /> Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br /> <br /> ELECTION Tom Duray reported that election of 2010 Officers would be delayed <br /> <br /> OF OFFICERS until the February meeting of the Planning Commission. <br /> MINUTES The December 10, 2009 Planning Commission meeting minutes were <br /> approved as submitted. <br /> PRELIMINARY The City Planner reported that Landmark Development of MN has <br /> PLAT - applied for Preliminary Plat approval for Gervais Woods, an 1 I lot <br /> GERVAIS single-family development at 2966 LaBore Road, the Former Richie <br /> WOODS property. <br /> The City Planner reviewed the history of the property noting that in 2007 <br /> the City Council granted Preliminary Plat approval to a 16-lot single- <br /> family subdivision (Richie Place) subject to compliance with a number of <br /> conditions. Of the 16 lots proposed in the Kichie Place plat, 13 were <br /> Located in the City of Little Canada and 3 in Maplewood. Given the <br /> economic conditions, this proposal did not move forward. The Planner <br /> noted that since the Richie Place plat was proposed, the City amended its <br /> R-1 platting standards requiring larger lot sizes for new single-family <br /> plats. <br /> <br />
