MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> LITTLE CANAllA, MINNESOTA <br /> JANUARY 27, 2010 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City <br /> Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 27th day of <br /> January, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br /> Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the <br /> following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br /> CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br /> Council Member Ms. Shelly Boss <br /> Council Member Mr. John Keis <br /> Council Member Mr. Mike McGraw <br /> ABSENT: Council Member Mr. Ric]< Montour <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br /> City Engineer Mr. Lee Elfering <br /> City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br /> <br /> IMPROVEMENT Mayor Blesener reported that the purpose of this evening's special <br /> <br /> HEARINGS meeting is to conduct improvement hearings for the following: <br /> Imp. No. 2010-08 & 09 -Allen Avenue (Payne Avenue to <br /> Greenbrier Street) and Valento Lane (north of Allen Avenue) by <br /> mill and overlay of bituminous surface as well as concrete curb <br /> and gutter repair and/or replacement; <br /> Imp. No. 2010-ll -Sylvan Street (north of County Road C) by <br /> mill and overlay of bituminous surface as well as concrete curb <br /> and gutter repair and/or replacement; <br /> Imp. No. 2010-OS -Sunrise Drive (Edgerton to Second Phase) by <br /> mill and overlay of bituminous surface as well as concrete curb <br /> and gutter repair and/or replacement. <br /> ALLEN AVE. Mayor Blesener opened the public hearing to consider the improvement of <br /> & VALENTO Allen Avenue (from Payne Avenue to Greenbrier Street) and Valento <br /> LANE Lane (north of Allen Avenue) by mill and overlay of bituminous surface <br /> as well as concrete curb and gutter repair and/or replacement. <br /> The City Engineer reviewed the existing conditions of these streets noting <br /> that pavement edge is settled below the curb, there is rutting and cracking <br /> of the pavement as well as some minor spauling.
