Shet7nan Development Update
It appears that Tires Plus is very interested in the site just east of Culvers.
This use (Auto Repair - Minol• and Auto Repair Major) is prohibited in the PUD
District. The representatives for Tires Plus have been made aware of this factor.
They would like to know if we would consider a text amendment to the PUD
zoning district. They have been informed that it is unlikely we would approve
that type of modification to this zoning district, but I said I would mention it to
you.
I did tell them we might have another site for their use. As you know, we
have talked about redeveloping the parcels indicated on the attached map. Past
discussions considered some type of retail use along Rice Street with a light
industrial use back by the railroad tracks. Anew entry road between All
American Recreation and the Market Place may also make sense. Given the
availability of McDonald Battery at this time, it may be wise to look at this option
once again.
Your direction on how to proceed, if at all, is needed.
? Public Works Garage Site
Roseville Plumbing's Realtor has called asking about proceeding with an
offer. We have been unable to connect over the last couple of days, but I'm
assuming we will do so before Wednesday's meeting. I did leave a message
saying we have informed the property owner of the price generated by our
appraiser ($420,000) and before we spend the time preparing a purchase
agreement, we would like to know if that number would be given serious
2
