2010 GOAL REVIEW WORKSHOP <br /> Sixteen participants offered their suggestions for goals that the City should accomplish during <br /> <br /> the year 2010 and beyond. <br /> )?ach person ranked their top five goals from the list of 28 possible goals generated at this <br /> workshop. (Council Member Boss's ranking was added following the workshop.) The rankings <br /> assigned 5 points for the top goal priority, 4 points for the second, 3 for the third, etc. <br /> Tabulations were done based upon the total points received for each goal. Tabulations were <br /> broken down by elected officials, non-elected officials, and a total for all participants. <br /> The results of the session are as follows, based on the ranking by all participants: <br /> Continue to move forward with new Public Works Garage; <br /> Pursue shared multi-family patrol position; <br /> Establish long-term funding plan for fire truck replacement; <br /> Develop Animal Control Policy; <br /> Evaluate/implement video surveillance program to enhance crime <br /> prevention efforts/other possible uses; <br /> Complete streetscape plan for Little Canada Road; <br /> Develop fee schedule for fire re-inspections; <br /> Pursue funding for reconstruction of Rice Street Bridge at 694. <br /> The City Administrator and City staff will put together work plans for accomplishing these <br /> goals. Work plans will be presented to the Council for their review and input. <br /> The goal setting session was adjourned at 7:00 p.m. <br /> 2 <br /> <br />
