MINUTES

PLANNING COMMISSION
APRIL 8, 2010
informed of the rezoning proposal and the proposed rezoning is consistent
with the City's Comp Plan. While there is no urgency, Knudsen was not
sure what additional information could be presented. Knudsen felt the
matter should be moved on to the City Council.
The City Cleric reported that the impacted property owners were supplied
with all the planning reports on this proposal.
Barraclough confirmed that by rezoning this entire area to PUD it allows
the City to consider the use of this entire area as it might redevelop.
Knudsen pointed out that the PUD zoning would have greater options than
the current B-3 District.
Dorn reported on the zoning history of this property, pointing out that it
was first zoned residential, and then rezoned to B-3 when the building at
127 East County Road C was constructed. After than point the 80 East
Little Canada Road building was built. Dorn noted that the Poolside
business began from asingle-family home that was on their current
property.
Fischer recommended approval of the Rezoning from General-Business
(B-3) District to Planned Unit Development (PUD) District of the
triangular area bounded by County Road C/the Railroad Property/Little
Canada Road as well as the Union Hall property as recommended by the
City Planner outlined in his report dated April 1, 2010.
Motion seconded by Everson.
Motion carried 7 - 0.
AllJOURN Everson recommended that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Fischer.
Motion carried 7 - 0.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
Respeetf ly submi/t(t~e~d,
Kathy Glanz J
City Clerk
-13-
