The Administrator noted that this will also be <br /> communicated to the Parks & Recreation Commission from a budget <br /> planning standpoint. <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOL UTION NO 2010-4-96 -AUTHORIZING THE PIONEER <br /> PARK ENTRANCE IMPROVEMENTSAS RECOMMENDED BY <br /> THE PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSIONAT A COST NOT TO <br /> EXCEED $4,000 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Kcsolution declared adopted. <br /> The City Administrator reviewed the Parks & Recreation Director's report <br /> relative to the Parks & Recreation Commission's recommendation to <br /> proceed with Thunder Bay Park improvements. The Little Canada <br /> Recreation Association (LCRA) has committed to fund half of the cost of <br /> the total project, up to $37,500 provided that the City funds the other half. <br /> The City Administrator indicated that this is a budgeted item and the <br /> City's share of the cost would come from the 10% Fund, funded by a tax <br /> on charitable gambling net prof ts. <br /> The City Administrator noted that the Council has previously approved <br /> this park improvement, but as part of on-going budget discussions there <br /> was discussion about revisiting the past approval of the project. <br /> The consensus of the Council was to move forward with the Thunder Bay <br /> Park Improvement as previously approved. <br /> CALL PUBLIC The City Clerk reported that the owners of the Gcrvais Woods property <br /> HEARING TO have petitioned for the vacation of drainage and utility easements that <br /> CONSIDER exist on this property. The existing easements will be replace with <br /> VACATION OF drainage and utility easements more appropriate to the platting of this <br /> UTILITY property. <br /> EASEMENTS- <br /> GEI2VAIS Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> WOODS <br /> RESOL UTION NO. 2010-4-97 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING <br /> FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 12, 2010, AT 7:30 P.M. TO CONSIDER <br /> THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS <br /> WITHIN THE GERVAIS WOODS ADDITIONAS PETITIONED FOR <br /> BY THE PROPERTY OWNER <br /> 19 <br /> <br />
