<br /> MINUTES <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> JUNE 21, 2010 <br /> The City Adminisri•ator indicated that he would mail property owners <br /> information by the end of the week that would explain the various options <br /> in detail. Property owners would then he asked to indicated whether or <br /> not they were interested in having their driveway access point lowered. <br /> A property owner asked about project length, noting that the Allan Avenue <br /> mill and overlay is on its sixth week. The City Engineer explained the <br /> mill and overlay process in detail, and suggested that it should move fairly <br /> quickly for Ontario Road given that all the other milling in the City had <br /> been done. He noted that access would be maintained at all times. <br /> There was no one else present wishing to comtnent on this matter. <br /> Upon motion by McGraw, seconded by Montour, the public hearing was <br /> closed. <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010-G-149 -ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NO. <br /> 2010-I8, ONTARIO ROAD (FROM LAHORE ROAD TO THE CUL- <br /> DE-SAC) BYREHABILITATED BITUMINOUS ROAD SURFACE <br /> (MILL AND OVERLAY) AS WELL AS REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF <br /> DAMAGED CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER SECTIONS, AS <br /> WELL AS ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS, NOTING THAT <br /> SUBSEQUENT ASSESSMENT OF PROJECT COSTS WILL BE ONA <br /> PER UNIT BASIS, WITH THE CITYAGREEING TO PARTICIPATE <br /> IN THE COST OF DRIVEWAYACCESS LOWERING ON A 50/50 <br /> COST SHARE BASIS FOR THOSE HOMEOWNERS THAT ARE <br /> INTERESTED AND NOTING THAT THE PROPERTY OWNER <br /> WOULD THEN BE RESPONSIBLE FOR I00% OF COSTS FOR <br /> BLENDING DRIVEWAYS INTO THE LOWER DRIVEWAYACCESS <br /> POINT <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br /> Ayes (4). <br /> Nays (0).
