Resolution declared adopted. <br /> Keis indicated that he wanted the public to know that between now and <br /> when the fina12011 Budget is adopted the Council will work to get the <br /> increase lower than the 5.98%. The preliminary levy amount gives the <br /> City some flexibility at this time. McGraw agreed that the Council will go <br /> over the budget with a fine tooth comb, and he hoped that the City will <br /> have additional information on the State's irnentions after the November <br /> election. McGraw stated that he would not support a gross levy increase <br /> of this size for the final 2011 Budget unless it was absolutely necessary. <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOL UTION NO. 2010-9-214 - CERTIFYING A PRELIMINARY <br /> 2011 DEBT LEVY OF $0 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> The City Clerk reported that it has been the Council's past practice to <br /> combine its two December meetings into one. <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010-9-21 S -CANCELLING THE DECEMBER 8 <br /> AND 22, 2010 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETINGS AND CALLING A <br /> COUNCIL MEETING FOR WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER I5, 2010 AT <br /> 7:30 P.M. <br /> The foregoing resolution. was duly seconded by Boss. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0).
