MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> LITTLE CANAllA, MINNESOTA <br /> OCTOBER 27, 2010 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City <br /> Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 27th day of <br /> October, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br /> Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and the <br /> following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br /> CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br /> Council Member Ms. Shelly Boss <br /> Council Member Mr. John Keis <br /> Council Member Mr. Mike McGraw <br /> Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br /> (arr. 6:50 p.m.) <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br /> Finance Director Ms. Shelly RueckerC <br /> Cable "fV Producer Mr. Kevin Helander <br /> City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br /> <br /> 2011 Mayor Blesener noted that the purpose of this evening's workshop <br /> <br /> Y12ELIMINARY meeting is to review the proposed 2010 Preliminary Budget <br /> BUDGET <br /> The Finance Director reported that this evening's budget review will focus <br /> on the City's fve capital budgets. The first fund reviewed was the <br /> Infrastructure Fund. The Director noted that the streets being considered <br /> for improvement in 2011 are as follows: <br /> Jessica Court -Mill & Overlay; <br /> Aspen Circle -Mill & Overlay; <br /> Payne Avenue-Full Depth Mill & Overlay; <br /> Ontario Road -Full Depth Mill & Overlay; <br /> Dianna Lane -Full Reconstruction. <br /> Neighborhood meetings will be held on these proposed improvements <br /> within the next few weeks, with staff then recommending whether or not <br /> to proceed to the improvement hearing phase. The Director noted that <br /> there is sufficient fund balance in the Infrastructw•e Pund to proceed with <br /> this work. Blesener noted that MSA dollars have been used through 2013 <br /> to help pay for past improvements. The Director agreed, noting that the <br /> City received MSA funds in advance and would then not start collecting <br /> additional MSA dollars witi12013.
