Little Canada, MN. 55117 Phone: (651)766-4040 Email: joel.hanson@ci.little-canada.mn.us PROPOSAL OF CONTRACT: Mobile Home Removals PROPERTY LOCATION: Lot A&B; Terrace Heights: 2442 Rice St. Little Canada, MN. 55117 JOB DESCRIPTION Submit notification to the MPCA as required by Federal Law. Remove mobile homes from lot A&B. Load, haul and legally dispose of all debris. Notes: As of March 4`" 2008, Soft Touch Demolition will follow the directive given at the MMHA committee meeting by the Jackie Deneen of [he MPCA. When [questioned the validity of the information, it was confirmed by Region 5 EPA in Chicago. This means that all mobile homes not privately owned and paid for, will hence forth be under the regulations of the EPA "FEDERAL ASBESTOS NESHAP LAWS". These homes whether moved out of the parks or demolished on site will have to have an inspection performed by a state certified asbestos inspector. These laws also require that the owner or contractor file the official notification to the MPCA 10 workine days before the work can be done. Any questions about these laws should be directed to Dereck Pemble of the MPCA at (651)757-2647. This contract does not cover or include the handling or disposal of hazardous materials (except asbestos) should any exist. In the even[ that other hazazdous materials are found during work, an amendment to this contract will be made to cover the added expense of properly handling these materials.) All areas to be worked on under this proposal are to be completely empty of personal contents. Any central air unit that is not "self contained" must have the Freon vacuumed from the line running to the furnace by the contract holder. All utility disconnects and cut offs that are necessary (anv entering the work areal should be oerformed by the contract holder before the commencement of the tear off so as not to interfere with the machine and compromise safety. Considerable time and materials (3/4" CDX Plywood laid as a road and machine work platform; in some cases multiple layers) will be afforded on all jobs to protect coverings on ground (sod, driveways, and sidewalks). It is however impossible [o guarantee no damage will occur to these surfaces when heavy equipment is used. Soft Touch Demolition will not be responsible for such damage to these surfaces in the unlikely even[ it occurs. Unless otherwise noted, equipment access [o structures is required to perform work. Overhead wires or tree limbs may need to be dropped by contract holder to perform work. Concrete slab and frost footing removal of any kind is no[ part of [his contract. City will allow us to hookup to hydrant near site at no addition charge to we[ all construction materials removed from site. [t is understood that Ramsey County has done their pre demolition inspection. CONTRACT PRICE: $5,000.00--- Removal of both homes: lots A and B (proper asbestos handling included) Work to begin November 22d 2010 *price good for 20 days from the date of this proposal Balance in full due within 20 days of completion. Please ask for certificates of insurance if required, prior to start of work.
