MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 15, 2010 <br />SECOND HAND noted that the Sheriff's Department has reviewed calls for service at these <br />GOODS locations and has indicated that there are no issues of concern at any of the <br />DEALERS business establishments. <br />LICENSES <br />There was no one present wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by McGraw, seconded by Keis, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2010 -12 -288 APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF <br />THE FOLLOWING LICENSES FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, <br />2011 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2011: <br />PAWN BROKERS LICENSE <br />Lincoln Pawn Jewei y, 2750 Rice Street <br />SECOND HAND GOODS DEALERS LICENSES <br />Christian Life Ministries, 2756 Lakeshore Avenue <br />Joe's Sporting Goods, 33 County Road B East <br />Lincoln Pawn Jewelry,2750 Rice Street <br />Quality Furniture, 2900 Rice Street <br />Second Impressions, 2800 Rice Street <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />REZONING Mayor Blesener opened the continued Public Hearing to consider the <br />CUP request to Tom Nielsen for the Rezoning of his property at 3075 Spruce <br />PERMIT Street from I -P District to I -1 District as well as for a Conditional Use <br />3075 SPRUCE Permit for outdoor storage. <br />STREET <br />NIELSEN The City Administrator reported that Mr. and Mrs. Nielsen have been <br />considering the withdrawal of their request as it is their belief that the <br />outdoor storage use on their property is grandfathered in. The <br />Administrator reported that he informed the Nielsen's that the Council <br />would he holding a workshop on the issue of outdoor storage prior to this <br />meeting, and that the discussion at that workshop may impact the <br />Nielsen's application. Therefore, he suggested to them that they request <br />action on their application be tabled until the January 26` Council <br />meeting. The Nielsen's indicated that they would submit that request in <br />writing. The Administrator recommended that the Council table action on <br />the Nielsen request until January 26' However, should the written <br />2 <br />
