MINUTES <br />AMEND CUP <br />VARIANCE <br />2956 YORKTON <br />BLVD. <br />AMR <br />PROPERTIES <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />FEBRUARY 10, 2011 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of <br />February, 2011 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Mr. Jon Hall <br />Ms. Heidi Murphy <br />Mr. Chuck Pechmann <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Kevin Helander, Cable TV <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />The January 13, 2011 Planning Commission meeting minutes were <br />approved as submitted. <br />Mr. Tom Kromroy, AMR Properties, appeared before the Commission <br />requesting approval of an Amendment to CUP Permit to increase the <br />amount of outdoor storage area from 4,000 square feet to 6,000 square <br />feet as well as a Variance to allow an expanded outdoor storage area in <br />the side yard for his business located at 2956 Yorkton Blvd. Kromroy <br />reported that he has learned that he cannot park his trailers in the parking <br />lot at the south end of his building. The trailers, along with his storage <br />containers, must be parked within the outdoor storage area. Therefore, he <br />is proposing to increase the size of that outdoor storage area. Kromroy <br />indicated that during the summer months his trailers and storage <br />containers are out on job sites. During the winter they are stored on his <br />property. Kromroy noted that the business is a masonry repair and <br />restoration business, therefore seasonal in nature. Kromroy also reported <br />that he has had a lot of vandalism at his property.
