MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 23, 2011 <br />Keis asked if assessments would have to be paid 30 days from the date of <br />adoption. The City Administrator indicated that he would research the <br />issues related to payment as well as first year's interest rate and have a <br />report for the Council at the assessment hearing. <br />The City Administrator then noted that the total estimated cost of the <br />improvement is $698,000.00, with the City paying an estimated <br />$497,483.06, and the total amount to be assessed $200,516.94. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -2 -51— DECLARING THE COST TO BE <br />ASSESSED FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 2011 -5, DIANNA LANE <br />RECONSTRUCTION, AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY <br />ENGINEER AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF THE PROPOSED <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011-2-52 CALLING AN ASSESSMENT <br />HEARING FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 2011 -5, DIANNA LANE, FOR <br />WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23, 2011, AT 6:30 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0).
