MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 13, 2011 <br />The Council discussed the number of tobacco licenses and the potential <br />for additional tobacco shops prior to adoption of the ordinance <br />amendment. The Administrator noted that the City has issued a total of 12 <br />tobacco licenses and the maximum number allowed is 12. It was also <br />noted that once an ordinance amendment is adopted, tobacco licensees <br />will be subject to the new ordinance upon renewal of their licenses. The <br />Administrator noted that tobacco license renewals will likely be <br />considered at the second meeting in May for renewal for the July 1 S` <br />through June 30th license period. <br />Blesener noted that the State Legislature is considering the banning of <br />some synthetic substances. The Administrator stated that he did not know <br />the nature of those products. <br />The Council agreed that discussion of the proposed ordinance amendment <br />would continue at the next Council meeting with the City Attorney was <br />present. <br />ADJOURN Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -4 -77 — ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
