COMMUNITY <br />SURVEY <br />MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />APRIL 13, 2011 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 13th day of <br />April, 2011 in the Conference Room of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />Finance Director <br />Parks & Rec. Hanson <br />Ms. Shelly Rueckert <br />Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Ms. Linda Fahey <br />Mr. Tom Maida <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />The purpose of this evening's workshop meeting is to review the draft <br />residential community survey that was submitted by Decision Resources. <br />The City Administrator began the review of the survey draft. He noted <br />that the initial questions are standard demographic questions and provide <br />Decision Resources with comparative information in analyzing survey <br />results. <br />Next reviewed is the proposed listing of City services to be rated. The <br />first change discussed was question #14, 911 Emergency Dispatch and <br />Ambulance Service. It was the consensus of the Council to eliminate this <br />question entirely, as well as have the City Administrator obtain response <br />reports from Allina for the Council to review. Next reviewed was <br />question #15 with the consensus that this question should be divided into <br />two, one asking about domesticated animals and the other about wildlife <br />management. Discussion related to questions #17, Water and Sanitary <br />Sewer Service, and #19, Drinking Water, were eliminated from the survey <br />given that these are essential services over which the City has Limited <br />
