Hanson At the June 14, 2006 Council meeting, the City Council declared that increases in On- Sale Liquor License and On -Sale Wine License fees would be tied to annual Gross Levy increases for the next five years. Please note that 2010 was the last year in this five - year plan. The gross levy increase for the 2010 Budget was 3.41 %, and liquor license fees were raised by that percentage. The gross levy increase for the 2011 Budget was 3.94 %, and if the Council continued to use this as the basis for liquor license increases, 2011 fees would be as follows: Current 2011 On -Sale Liquor License $4,206 $4,372 On -Sale Wine License $608 $632 The following liquor license fees are regulated by State Law, and Little Canada is at the maximum it can charge for these fees: On -Sale Sunday $200 Consumption & Display $300 Off -Sate Liquor License $380 - $280 if State Conditions are met The State conditions are as follows, and it should be noted that all three conditions must be met: I. The licensee agrees to have a private vendor train all employees within 60 days of hire and annually thereafter in laws pertaining to the sale of alcohol, the rules for identification checks, and the responsibilities of establishments serving intoxicating liquors; 2. The licensee agrees to post a policy requiring identification checks for all persons appearing to be 30 years old or less; and 2
