Hanson <br />W HERLAS, the City of Little Canada recognizes that trees beautify our surroundings, <br />improve our quality of life, increase property values, and enhance the economic vitality of the City; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City has had a successful program of planting trees in City parks, along <br />streets, and other public places; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has encouraged residents and property owners to plant trees on <br />private property throughout the City; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED that 1, William Blesener, <br />Mayor of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota do hereby proclaim Friday, April 29, 2011, as Arbor <br />Day in the City of Little Canada. <br />BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the month ofMay be "Arbor Month" <br />and that an observance of Arbor Day and Arbor Month will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 1:00 <br />p.m. in Spooner Park in the City of Little Canada. <br />William Blesener, Mayor <br />
