The store must comply with the Clean Indoor Air Act in all <br />other respects. <br />(2) No person shall permit a minor to sample tobacco. <br />(3) Tobacco samples must be lit by an employee of the store <br />who must remain with the customer while the sample is <br />consumed. <br />(4) The store's operating hours may start no earlier than 8:00 <br />A,M. and must end prior to 10:00 P.M, If a land use permit <br />or restrictive covenant also contains provisions relating to <br />eratint hours the more restrictive re ulation shall a..1 <br />(5) No more than 15% of the total product display area in the <br />store may be used for the display or storage of tobacco - <br />related devices. <br />(b) The following restrictions apply to premises licensed for general <br />tobacco sales and display: <br />(1) No sampling of tobacco is allowed on the premises, and the <br />establishment shall fully comply with the Minnesota Clean <br />Indoor Air Act, Minn. Stat. § 144.411 to 144.417. <br />(2) There shall be no display of tobacco-related devices except <br />for cigarette lighters for sale on the licensed premises, <br />whether the sale is for the benefit of the licensee or for a <br />third party (e.g. consignment). <br />(3) Other than Tobacco Products packaged in cartons <br />containing at least ten (10) individually packaged Tobacco <br />Products. a licensee shall not offer for sale or otherwise <br />dispense any Tobacco Product by self - service <br />merchandising. <br />(c) The following restrictions apply to all licenses: <br />(1) Vending machines used to dispense 'Tobacco Products or <br />nicotine or Lobelia delivery devices shall be prohibited unless the <br />following conditions are net: <br />(i) <br />The vending machine shall be operable only by the <br />activation of an electronic switch operated by an employee <br />of the licensee before each sale, or by insertion of a token <br />
