MINUTES OF TIIE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 9, 2011 <br />Pursuant to clue call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of <br />June, 2011 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Mr. Jon Hall <br />Ms. Heidi Murphy <br />Mr. Chuck Pechmann <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Kevin Helander, Cable TV <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />MINUTES The May 12, 2011 Planning Commission meeting minutes were approved <br />as submitted. <br />CUP- <br />5 S. OWASSO <br />BLVD. — <br />DOLLE <br />Mr. Bob Dolle, Croesus L.LC, appeared before the Commission requesting <br />approval of a Conditional Use Permit for the outdoor storage of semi -truck <br />and trailer parking at 5 South Owasso Blvd. Dolle reported that he built <br />the building in 1995 and operated D & T Trucking from this location for <br />several years. He sold the property, but now has it back given the owner <br />relocated to a less expensive building. The property has been vacant for <br />the past two years; therefore, the original CUP on the property lapsed. <br />The City Planner reported that originally the property was two separate <br />parcels with separate zoning for each parcel. The property has been <br />combined into one lot, but the northern portion of the property remains <br />zoned I-1 District, and the southern portion 1 -P District. The City Planner <br />noted that there are more stringent standards for outdoor storage in the 1 -P <br />District than there are in the 1 -1 District. <br />Knudsen noted from the Planner's report that the proposed outdoor storage <br />in the I -1 area of the property meets the Code, while it does not in the I -P <br />area of the property. The Planner indicated that the 1 -P standards allow <br />9 <br />
