5 SMOS LLC is requesting a conditional use permit to allow for outside storage. <br />Optimum Mechanical Systems Inc. (a related entity) currently occupies the property and <br />utilizes the existing primary structure as office and the garage for storage. <br />In June of 2009, to increase its secured storage a storage container was set on the site. <br />The space located to the north of the storage container is used sporadically as a short term <br />lay down area for mechanical equipment to be installed at other locations. Optimum <br />Mechanical Systems Inc. requires secure storage as equipment used in its primary <br />business contains metals that are subject to theft for their salvage value. <br />The primary structure consists of a two story house converted to office space. The <br />property is lined by pine trees to the north and central hardwoods to the east. A. one story <br />slab on grade commercial building resides to the south.
