1. Introduction <br />The purpose of this report is to describe the proposed stormwater management design for the <br />development of the T.H. 36 and Rice Street Park and Ride on the NE corner of Rice Street and <br />County Road B, City of Little Canada, MN. <br />The project consists of constructing a 280 stall Metro Transit Park and Ride facility with access <br />on County Road B across from the existing Cub Foods. The project includes grading, clearing <br />and grubbing, bituminous and concrete pavement, drive way entrance, retaining walls, <br />drainage, curb & gutter, signing, stripping, driver's restroom, bus shelter, bike shelter, <br />watermain, private sanitary sewer, and stormwater treatment. <br />The project will disturb approximately 4.0 acres (includes area east of site for utility connection <br />to City services), and will add a total of 2.4 acres of new impervious surface. <br />Figure 1- Site Location <br />Hwy 36 and Rice Street Park and Ride <br />Storm Water Narrative — 90% Review Set <br />8/5/2011 <br />30 <br />Page 1 2 <br />
