The <br />review is based on soil borings that we conducted at the site in 2005 and on our more recent <br />geoprobe tests conducted for environmental purposes. This review will comment on pavement <br />subgrade preparation and design, and on general infiltration properties of the on -site soils. <br />1.0 Project Information <br />The project involves constructing a new park and ride facility to the north of County Road B and <br />to the east of Rice Street in Little Canada. The site is currently wooded, although fill is known to <br />have been placed on the site in the past. Because the site is high in elevation versus surrounding <br />roadways, the site will be cut down to establish grade for the new facility. The planned layout of <br />the new parking lot is shown on attached Figure 2. <br />Final parking lot elevation is not available to us. Eased on preliminary information presented in a <br />report prepared by SEMI, the final parking lot is anticipated to have a finished elevation in the <br />range of 940 feet to 945 feet. <br />We understand the project may include infiltration devices and /or rain gardens. We have not <br />been provided with details concerning these storm water improvements, their locations, or their <br />elevations.
